Resumo

A cultura da modernidade científica e industrial levou a objetividade a um nível tal, e o desinvestimento do superego pela sociedade civilizada chegou a tal grau que todo o esforço empreendido no sentido do conhecimento parece ter criado uma clivagem irreversível entre ciência e cultura, como pontua Michel Henry. Diante de tal dissociação impõe-se o desafio de ressignificar a vida por meio da fenomenologia.

Este trabalho faz uma análise das críticas de Michel Henry ao desenvolvimento da humanidade, considerando as influências deletérias da ciência galileana e suas consequências na mídia, no pensamento histórico, na psicologia, sociologia e educação.

Abstract

The culture of scientific and industrial modernity led objectivity to such a level, and the disinvestment of the superego by civilized society has reached such a degree that every effort undertaken towards knowledge seems to have created an irreversible division between science and culture, as Michel Henry punctuates. Facing such dissociation it is imposed the challenge of reframing life through phenomenology.
This study analyzes the criticism of Michel Henry to the human development, considering the deleterious influences of Galilean science (from Galileo) and its consequences in the media, historical thinking, psychology, sociology and education.
